Des malformations squelettiques: dyssymphyses sternales, des anomalies vertébrales, crâniennes et costales ont été observées, chez des rejetons de rates de souche Sprague-Dawley, traitées avec de la thalidomide, du phénobarbital, de la méthaqualone et du glutéthimide pendant toute la période de gestation.
