Zusammenfassung
Das Ruhepotential von markhaltigen Nervenfasern des Frosches wird mit einer neuen Methode fortlaufend registriert. 1 mM Procain in Ringer erhöht es rasch um 0,5 mV. Nervenfasern in katelektrotonischem Zustand werden durch die gleiche Procainlösung um 1,5 mV depolarisiert, unter Anelektrotonus wird ihr Ruhepotential hingegen durch Procain nicht verändert. Diese Resultate lassen sich unter der Annahme erklären, dass Procain vorwiegend auf das Na-Überträgersystem im Sinne einer Verminderung der Na-Permeabilität wirkt.
