Zusammenfassung

Die Struktur der Markscheide peripherer Nervenfasern wurde an ultradünnen Schnitten bei hoher Auflösung im Elektronenmikroskop untersucht. Die Markscheide besteht aus regelmässig konzentrisch angeordneten Lamellen, die rund 25 Å dick sind. Der mittlere Abstand zwischen den Lamellen beträgt 120 Å. Die Räume zwischen den einzelnen Hauptlamellen werden durch Zwischenlamellen halbiert.
