Zusammenfassung
In Blättern und Nüssen vonGinkgo biloba wurde eine Gruppe ungesättigter Fettsäuren gefunden, die in ihrer Struktur von der üblichen Anordnung der Doppelbindungen in Fettsäuren abweichen. Jede der ungewöhnlichen Säuren hat die «isolierte» Doppelbindung in Δ5-Position, was auf eine neuartige Biosynthese dieser Dien-, Trien- und Tetraensäuren hinweist.
