Summary
In high doses synthetic vitamin A proved to have a leucopoetic effect on the experimental leucopenia of rats. In the treatment of the succinylsulfathiazol leucopenia vitamin A does not equal the effect of folic acid, in the treatment of the milk leucopenia however it is superior to the latter.
