Se demuestra que lap-clorofenilalanina depleciona los componentes de las vesículas sinápticas de los nervios pineales de la rata revelables por la mezcla tetróxido de osmio-yoduro de zinc pero no afecta a los revelables por tetróxido de osmio-yoduro de potasio.
