A surgical treatment of thrombosed external hemorrhoids

Abstract

An anatomically based method for the surgical treatment of thrombosed external hemorrhoids has been described. It involves a circumferential incision over the thrombosed hemorrhoidal sinus and removes the thrombi from involved veins.
