Typing ofHerpesvirus simplex hominis 1 and 2 by indirect immunofluorescence

Abstract

11 HSV strains isolated from patient's material are typed by an indirect immunofluorescent technique and the results are compared to those of the “rct”-test (distinction by temperature markers). Producing both satisfactory results, the first method is superior to the second one because of its rapidity.
