Abstract
The isotope shifts of muonic X-rays for the three stable Ba-isotopes134, 136, 138Ba have been measured with high accuracy. Especially the differences in the rms radiiΔ〈r 2〉 have been determined in a model independent way and have been used to calibrate optical isotope shift data.
