Summary
Lines of pentads in the CH-resonance spectrum of poly-(vinylchloride) were found using an improved method of spin-decoupling: the isotactic triad-resonance is split into three anticipated lines of pentads, the heterotactic showing two distinctly separate lines, whereas the syndiotactic triad-resonance shows no fine structure. An assignment of the observed lines to specific pentads is given.
