Summary
A case of pulmonary adenomatosis in a 19 years old man is reported. The diagnosis was ascertained by clinical evidence and a lung biopsy.
Extraordinary was the youthful age of this patient and the fact, that a primary benign disease turned malignant and metastasized into the regional lymphnodes. This observation shows, that transitions of a primary benign tumor to a malignant one obviously seem to be possible. — For further characterisation 177 published cases of pulmonary adenomatosis were studied with regard to their age distribution, the tumor growth, and the course of the disease.
