Possible chain mechanism of oxygen atom transfer

Abstract

A chain mechanism is suggested for reactions in polar media which proceed according to the general scheme

$$LO + B \to L + BO$$

The mechanism involves one-electron oxidation of LO, further reactions of\(LO^{\mathop + \limits_. } \) with O+ or O atom transfer and the electron transfer from LO to\(BO^{\mathop + \limits_. } \) or to\(L^{\mathop + \limits_. } \). Some examples of possible reactions are discussed.

Abstract

Предложен цепной механизм для реакций в полярных средах, протекающих по общей схеме:

$$LO + B ---- > L + BO$$

Механизм включает одно-электронное окисление LO, дальнейшие реакции\(LO^{\mathop + \limits_. } \) с переносом O+ или атома O и перенос электрона от LO к\(BO^{\mathop + \limits_. } \) или\(L^{\mathop + \limits_. } \). Обсуждаются примеры возможных реакций.
