Abstract
The g-factor of the 308 keV 2+ state in48V has been measured by means of the time differential perturbed angular correlation technique, following the implantation of48Cr activity into ferromagnetic iron in the reaction46Ti(α,2n)48Cr. We obtained g = 0.222(8) and a substitutional fraction of f1>80%.
