Beeinflussung der Charakteristik einer Cs-Sb-Photokathode durch Zusatz fremder Elemente

Summary

The investigations on dark current in photomultipliers with Cs-Sb- and Li-Sb-photocathodes indicate that these cathodes show a delayed emission of electrons after each exposition to light. The addition of a certain number of elements to the cathode-layer reduces this delayed emission and at the same time the dark current of the photocathode.
