Abstract
A strongly temperature-activated character of hydrogen sorption on 3% Ir−Fe/Al2O3 catalysts, especially for systems with higher iron content has been observed. The amount of hydrogen sorbed on bimetallic catalysts are much smaller than those expected from the interpolation of sorption on monometallic catalysts. Hydrogen thermodesorption spectra of the systems investigated change continually with growing iron contents and do not show any new maxima.
