Summary
A simple and rapid method for the determination of lithium in 1∶4 diluted, not deproteinized serum is described. The lithium concentration in 52 sera ranged from 3 ng/ml to 44 ng/ml. The standard deviation was less than 8.1% in seventeen analyses. One analysis can be completed in 10 minutes.
