Summary
56 sec after the intravenous injection of a sulfonylurea derivative arterial insulin rises rapidly. In the average this early incretion lasts for 142 sec. The time-course of arterial insulin concentrations permits trials of an estimation of the size of the early phase insulin incretion.

Das arterielle Insulin steigt 56 sec nach Injektion eines Sulfonylharnstoffderivates rasch an. Diese frühe Inkretion dauert im Mittel 142 sec. Der Verlauf der arteriellen Insulinkonzentrationen erlaubt Versuche zur quantitativen Abschätzung der Insulininkretion in der frühen Phase.
