Abstract
Approximate equations describing with high accuracy the change in molar mass and specific internal energy, including its thermodynamic and chemical parts, due to a shift of the chemical equilibrium of gaseous hydrocarbon combustion products are obtained. The approximate model allows one to calculate the detonation parameters at the Chapman-Jouguet point with an accuracy of1%.
