Summary
The adenylate cyclase of a human medullary thyroid carcinoma was activated by TRH, glucagon, epinephrine, norepinephrine, phentolamine, serotonin and NaF, suggesting the presence of multiple hormone receptors including a β-adrenergic one in the tumor.
