Summary

Afger perfusion-fixation, the juxtaepiphyseal capillaries reveal endothelial cells with pores and without basement-membrane. Extravasates of erythrocytes are artefacts and are due to overexpanding of the endothelial cells in a loosened cartilage matrix.
