Der Einbau von Thymidin in Leberexplantate wird durch lösliche Leberproteine gehemmt. Diese Hemmung ist aufgehoben, wenn die Proteine aus Lebern karzinogenbehandelter Tiere präpariert wurden. Dieser Effekt ist organspezifisch.
