Werden Ratten bis zu 60 Tage lang mit Carbontetrachlorid behandelt, dann ist die Vermehrung des hepatischen Kollagens reversibel; bei einer Behandlung von mehr als 140 Tagen bleibt sie jedoch bestehen.
