Zusammenfassung

Der Aussendiameter der Muskelspindeln variert in Mäusen von Muskel zu Muskel. Der Grössenunterschied ist altersunabhängig. In Mäusen mit vererblichen neuromuskulären Erkrankungen wurden nur geringe Abnormitäten der Spindeln gefunden. Anscheinend sind sie erkrankungsresistent oder entwickeln sich erst im späteren Erkrankungsprozess.
