Abstract
Momentum and energy integrals are used to study the effect of injection on the flow in the inlet region of a channel, taking into account the loss of energy due to viscous dissipation in the boundary layer. Analytical expressions for boundary layer development and inlet region pressure distribution are presented. A comparison of the results of the present analysis is made with earlier studies.
