InA spidosperma melanocalyx wurde N-Acetyl-16, 17-dihydroxy-aspidospermin (Desmethylaspidocarpin) gefunden sowie dessen durch oxydative Dimerisierung entstandenes Produkt. Die Strukturaufklärung basiert auf physikalisch-chemischen Methoden.
