Summary
A determination of GPT and GOT transaminases activities in the serum of rats, whose liver had been damaged by allyl alcohol, did not show alterations of the activity when a halothane or ether anaesthesia was given. This suggests that halothane alone is unable to aggravate a toxic parenchymatous liver damage.
