Zusammenfassung
Bei zehn Patienten mit schrittmacherstimulierten Herzen wegen Adams-Stokes-Anfällen wurden nach verschiedenen Frequenzen plötzlich die Schrittmacherimpulse unterbrochen. Es zeigte sich bei allen Patienten eine Abhängigkeit der präautomatischen Pause von der vorgegebenen Frequenz in gleicher Weise: je höher die vorgegebene Frequenz, desto länger die nachfolgende Pause bis zum Einsetzen des Eigenrhythmus.
Die Absolutwerte der präautomatischen Pause und die Stimulationsfrequenz zeigen bei den einzelnen Patienten große Unterschiede. Dafür wird der Begriff individuelle präautomatische Pause gewählt.
Die Reproduzierbarkeit der Befunde ermöglicht pharmakologische Untersuchungen und Verlaufsbeobachtungen.
Summary
In the case of 10 patients with introduced cardiac pacemakers after Adams-Stokes-disease the impulses of the pacemaker were suddenly interrupted. Before the interruption the frequences had been changed. In all the cases there was a relationship between the preautomatic pause and the selected frequency in the same way: the higher the selected frequency the longer the following pause to the own ventricular rhythm.
This was found as well in patients with total block as in patients with partial block.
In all these cases we saw a great difference of the preautomatic pause (so-called individual preautomatic pause).
The possibility of the reproduction of these results makes pharmacological researches possible.
