Tumoral calcinosis

Abstract

Tumoral calcinosis is an interesting clinical entity. It is not uncommon in certain countries. We report our experience with 22 patients with this condition seen over a 7-year period and review in detail the modalities of clinical presentation, theories of etiogenesis, histological appearances, and treatment modalities.

La calcinose tumorale est une entité clinique intéressante; elle n'est pas rare dans certains pays. Nous rapportons ici notre expérience de 22 patients pour une période de 7 ans. Nous analysons présentation clinique, pathogénèse, histologie, et traitement.

Resumen

La calcinosis tumoral es una entidad clínica interesante que no es rara en ciertos países. En este artículo se reporta nuestra experiencia con 22 pacientes con calcinosis tumoral vistos a través de un per⩝do de 7 años, con especial énfasis en los modos de presentatión, las teorías sobre etiopatogenesis, apariencia histológica, y las modalidades terapeúticas.
