The paper summarizes the results of a thorough search for involved microorganisms in 1,461 patients suffering from chronic prostatitis and 202 controls from 1976 to 1988 following a standardized diagnostic program.

Die Untersuchung faßt die Ergebnisse einer kompletten Durchuntersuchung nach ätiologischen Mikroorganismen bei 1461 Patienten mit der Symptomatik einer chronischen Prostatis und 202 gesunden Kontrollen in den Jahren 1976 bis 1988 zusammen.
