Upper gastrointestinal and ultrasound examinations of gastric antral involvement in chronic granulomatous disease

Abstract

Two brothers with chronic granulomatous disease of childhood are presented with circumferential gastric antral thickening demonstrated on sonography. Barium studies and sonography correlated well in one brother. The antral changes can resolve quickly without antibiotic therapy.
