Summary

Since 1962, the conservative treatment of acute pancreatitis has been supported by delayed operation whenever necessary, based on clinical criteria. Of 65 patients operated upon, 22 died (33%) The overall mortality rate of 129 treated patients is 30%.

Zusammenfassung

Seit 1962 wird die konservative Behandlung der akuten Pankreatitis im Bedarfsfall durch eine verzögerte Operation ergänzt. Von 65 Operierten verstarben 22 (33%). Die Gesamtletalitdt der 129 behandelten Patienten beträgt 30%.
