Abstract
Pion interferometry has been reinvestigated forpp and\(\bar p\) p minimum bias data from the AFS experiment at CERN. A model based on an interplay between static coherent and chaotic sources finds some support in these data, although decisive predictions cannot be verified. The Kolehmainen-Gyulassy picture, taking into account both dynamical and geometrical aspects of the interaction, is quite successful and, particularly, the peaked structure in data at lowQ values is reproduced.
