Abstract
Polyethylene glycol (PEG)-mediated somatic cell fusion is shown to be dependent on temperature, the molecular weight of PEG used, and the fusion technique. Time-sequential formation of multinucleated cells is described. Cultures were established of hybrids obtained by PEG-mediated fusion of mouse cells and human tumor cells.
