Conclusion

Maynard's advertising slogan “Line balancing at your fingertips” restricts to drag&drop usability and simple information management capabilities. The software does not incorporate even simple methods of line balancing research (cf., e.g., [2–4]). Accordingly, the research community should strive to incorporate their algorithms in ready-to-use software Systems, which would easily resuit in far more powerful programs.
