Laktasemangel bei Kindern mit Mucoviscidose

Lactase deficiency in children with cystic fibrosis of the pancreas (CFP)

Summary

The histology of 11 biopsies of the duodenum of 8 children with CFP was compared with the activities of the disaccharidases of mucosa and with the results of the xylose lactose loading test. The present data indicate the value of the combined test as a means to diagnose lactase deficiency of clinical significance in patients with CFP.

Zusammenfassung

Bei 8 Kindern mit Mucoviscidose wurden 11 Dünndarmbiopsien durchgeführt, der histologische Befund mit den Disaccharidasc-Aktivitäten der Mucosa und dem Ergebnis einer Xylose-Lactosebelastung in Beziehung gesetzt. Durch den kombinierten Test konnte ein bei Mucoviscidose offenbar häufiger, klinisch relevanter Lactasemangel mit großer Treffsicherheit diagnostiziert werden.
