Zusammenfassung
An 15 Patienten wurden je 25 E (0,25 mg) des vollsynthetischen Tetracosapeptidsβ 1–24Corticotrophin mit der Sequenz der Aminosäuren 1–24 von menschlichem ACTH i.v. verabreicht. Am Infusionstag kam es im Vergleich zu den Ausgangswerten am Vortag zu einem Anstieg der 17-Hydroxycorticosteroide im Blut und zu einer vermehrten Ausscheidung von 17-Hydroxycorticosteroiden und C-17 Ketosteroiden im Urin. Gemessen an der Ausscheidung dieser beiden Hormongruppen entsprach der Anstieg dem nach 25 IE ACTH i.v. Die Bestimmung einzelner Nebennierenrindenhormone ergab, daß die Infusion von 25 Eβ 1–24Corticotrophin zu einer vermehrten Ausscheidung 1. von Cortisol und dessen Hauptmetaboliten Tetrahydrocortisol, Allotetrahydrocortisol und Tetrahydrocortison, 2. der Hauptmetaboliten von Corticosteron Allotetrahydrocorticosteron und Tetrahydrocorticosteron und 3. der androgenen Hormone Androsteron und Ätiocholanolon sowie Dehydroisoandrosteron führt. Offenbar steigertβ 1–24Corticotrophin ähnlich wie ACTH die Produktion von Cortisol, Corticosteron und Androgenen in der Nebennierenrinde. Die Befunde und deren Bedeutung wurden kurz diskutiert.
