Zusammenfassung

Das Krankheitsbild der “Enteritis regionalis” (Crohnsche Krankheit), das uns noch immer viele Rätsel aufgibt, wird eingehend besprochen. Dabei finden Nomenklatur, historische Entwicklung, Ätiologie, Pathogenese sowie die pathologisch-anatomischen Veränderungen der verschiedenen Stadien besondere Berücksichtigung. Nur auf Grund der genauen Kenntnis des Krankheitsverlaufes, der Lokalisation der krankhaften Veränderungen sowie der Komplikationsmöglichkeiten ist eine sinnvolle Therapie möglich. Die allgemein gültigen Behandlungsmethoden werden unter Verwertung des eigenen Krankengutes der letzten 10 Jahre angeführt.
