Morphologische Befunde bei tödlich verlaufenden postoperativen thyreotoxischen Krisen

Zugleich ein Beitrag zum Problem des Status thymicolymphaticus

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über morphologische Befunde von 6 an postoperativer thyreotoxischer Krise ad exitum gekommenen Basedowfällen berichtet, die einem Material von 637 operierten Basedowfällen entstammen. Die Berichtszeit umfaßt die Jahre 1945–1956 mit insgesamt 16909 Strumektomien. Nachdem in Kürze auf die Literatur der thyreotoxischen Krise und des Status thymicolymphaticus eingegangen wird, wird der Versuch einer Interpretation der tödlich verlaufenden postoperativen thyreotoxischen Krise und des Status thymicolymphaticus unternommen.
