Zusammenfassung

An Hand von 19 in der hiesigen Klinik operierten Zwerchfellbrüchen wird auf Morphologie, Diagnose und Therapie der Zwerchfellbrüche näher eingegangen. Die zur Sicherung der Diagnose möglichen Untersuchungsmethoden, insbesondere die Röntgenuntersuchung werden besprochen. Als Therapie kommt nur die frühzeitig durchgeführte Operation in Frage. Als Methode wird das transthorakale-transdiaphragmale Vorgehen in intratrachealer Narkose mit Curare und kontrollierter Atmung angewandt. Einzelheiten der Operationstechnik werden besprochen.
