Nuclear moment of the 23.8 keV state and hyperfine anomaly in119Sn

Abstract

Using the Mössbauer effect of the 23.8 keV transition in119Sn, the nuclear magnetic dipole moment of the 23.8 keV 3/2+ state is measured to be 0.632(3)μ n . From a comparison with previously published results a hyperfine anomaly of −8.8(5)% is obtained.
