Low-lying 0+-states in a three-alpha model of12C

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik A Hadrons and nuclei

Abstract

The nucleus12C is treated as a system composed of three alpha particles. Separable potentials are used for thes-wave andd-wave interactions between two alpha particles. Applying Faddeev's theory two 0+-states are found in the neighbourhood of the three-particle threshold.
