Zusammenfassung

Die farblose DiatomeeNitzschia alba kann auch Zwischenbänder besitzen. Sie hat Leukoplasten, die fast keine Thylakoide enthalten, aber ähnlich wie die Chloroplasten anderer „Chromophyta“ von einer Hüllzisterne des endoplasmatischen Reticulums und außerdem von einem schwach ausgebildeten periplastidären Reticulum umschlossen sind.

Summary

The shell of the colourless diatomNitzschia alba may be enlarged by girdle bands (copulae). The cells contain leucoplasts with only very few thylakoids; like chloroplasts of other „Chromophyta“ they have an outer envelope which is made up of a cisterna of the endoplasmic reticulum and of a poorly developed periplastidal reticulum.
