The superconducting transition temperature of Pb1−x Mn x films

Abstract

Results of the superconducting transition temperatureT c of amorphous and microcrystalline films of lead doped with manganese as magnetic impurity are reported in this work. The amorphous films show an Abrikosov-Gor'kov behaviour, whereas for the crystalline films there is a much smaller depression and a peak for higher Mn concentrations, which indicates a region of coexistence of superconductivity and magnetic ordering as a spinglass.
