Summary

An antiglobulin-enhanced virus plaque neutralization test was more sensitive than the fluorescent antibody to membrane antigen (FAMA) test in detecting antibody to varicella-zoster virus. Postimmunization antibody titers were enhanced by antiglobulin more effectively than postinfection antibody titers.
