91. Endoskopische Diagnostik bei Blutungen aus dem Dünn-, Dick- und Mastdarm

Summary

Two hundred twenty-five patients presenting with the symptoms of acute or chronic peranal bleeding were subjected to an endoscopic inspection of the upper and lower intestinal tract. In 91.50/0 of all the patients, either the source of bleeding was definitely established or, in cases where bleeding had stopped at the time of the examination, the probable source has established. Since the source of bleeding was located in the colon in almost 50% of the patients examined, the new technique of coloscopic inspection of the entire colon and the adjoining small bowel represents a useful extension of the diagnostic possibilities.

Zusammenfassung

225 Patienten mit dem Symptom der akuten oder chronischen peranalen Blutung wurden einer endoskopischen Diagnostik des oberen und unteren Verdauungstraktes unterzogen. Dabei konnte in 91,50% aller Patienten die Blutungsquelle gesichert oder, da zum Zeitpunkt der Untersuchung nicht blutend, wahrscheinlich gemacht werden. Da sich die Blutungsquelle bei nahezu 50% der untersuchten Patienten im Colon befand, stellt die nunmehr mögliche coloskopische Inspektion des Dick- sowie des angrenzenden Dünndarmes eine wertvolle Bereicherung der diagnostischen Möglichkeiten dar.
