Zusammenfassung
Eine Besprechung der vorliegenden Literatur über die Abhängigkeit des Bildes der Zellstrukturen von der verwendeten Fixierungsmethode ergab, daß der Anteil einzelner Faktoren sehr unterschiedlich bewertet wird. So wird dempH-Wert des Fixierungsmediums von Sjöstrand und seiner Schule nur ein geringer Einfluß zugeschrieben, von Palade und P. Sitte dagegen ein wesentlicher. FürPlanaria alpina Dana konnte nun eine Änderung des ER in Abhängigkeit vompH-Wert des Fixierungsmediums beschrieben werden. Zwei Zelltypen vonPlanaria alpina — Dotterstockzellen und Drüsenzellen der quergestreiften Granula — besitzen besonders reichlich „rauhes“ —mit Meiosomen besetztes — endoplasmatisches Reticulum. In beiden Zelltypen quellen die Zisternen im sauren Bereich (pH 6,0–5,0) und das Grundcytoplasma bleibt weitgehend unverändert. Im alkalischen Bereich (8,0) quillt dagegen das Grundcytoplasma und die Zisternen bleiben weitgehend unverändert. Nicht nur eine qualitative Übereinstimmung ist gegeben, sondern auch eine weitgehend quantitative (siehe Tab. 1).
