Zusammenfassung
Eine Methode der Neutralisation des LCM-Virus durch Immunseren wurde ausgearbeitet. Es ergibt sich, daß dasAlter der Tiere nur von untergeordneter Bedeutung ist.
EineInkubation von zwei Stunden bei 37° C führt zu optimaler Virusneutralisation. DieInaktivierung des Serums bei 56° C hat einenSchwund immunisierender Eigenschaften zur Folge.
Schon bei geringgradiger Verdünnung des Serums kommt es zu einemstarken Abfall neutralisierender Kapazität. Der Regressionskoeffizient von Log LD50 Virusverdünnung auf Log LD50 Serumverdünnung errechnet sich zu −3,2.
