Abstract
A female adolescent with hyperthyroidism was found to have an anterior mediastinal mass. Radiological investigation of this mass was consistent with thymic enlargement. Chest roentgenograms one year after treatment showed resolution of the mediastinal mass. A non-invasive investigational approach to such patients is suggested based on a review of the pathological literature.
