Abstract
We study the ultraviolet stability problem for the two-dimensional Yukawa interaction λε:cosαϕξ:dξ in the region\(4\pi< \alpha ^2< \bar \alpha ^2 \), where\(6\pi< \bar \alpha ^2< 8\pi \). The results have a natural Coulomb gas interpretation, because the counterterms do not depend on the field.
