Summary

The synthesis of deuterium-labelled 2-furfurylthiol, 2-methyl-3-mercaptofuran and its disulfide, 2,4,5-trimethyl thiazole, 3-mercapto-2-pentanone and 3-(methylthio)propanal is described. The mass spectra are given and compared with those of the unlabelled materials.
